1. Who we are
FullSnapShot is a screenshot capture and editing extension for Google Chrome developed by T6 Digital. This policy explains how the FullSnapShot browser extension operates and what happens to information used by its features.
For privacy questions, contact hello.t6digital@gmail.com.
2. Information handled by the extension
When you choose to capture a webpage, FullSnapShot processes the visible webpage content or selected area to create a screenshot. Depending on the feature you use, this may include text, images, website addresses, page titles, capture dates, and annotations that you add.
FullSnapShot also stores settings and preferences such as image format, JPG quality, PDF options, download behavior, and editor shortcuts. Saved screenshots, history entries, and editable project data may be retained in your browser's local extension storage.
Important: screenshots may contain personal or sensitive information displayed on the pages you capture. You decide what to capture, edit, save, copy, or export.
3. Where screenshots and settings are stored
The extension's normal screenshot and editing workflow is designed to run locally in your browser. Screenshots, history, projects, and preferences are stored using browser-provided local storage mechanisms, including extension storage and IndexedDB where applicable. Exported files are saved to your device through Chrome's download functionality.
FullSnapShot does not require an account to capture or edit screenshots. The extension does not automatically upload screenshot content to a T6 Digital server as part of its normal capture, editing, or export workflow.
Data saved on your device may remain until you delete it, clear the extension's storage, or uninstall the extension. Chrome or your operating system may manage downloaded files separately.
4. How we use the information
The extension uses the information described above to provide the features you request: capturing full pages, visible viewports, or custom selections; editing and annotating screenshots; managing layers; saving and reopening history; applying your preferences; and exporting PNG, JPG, and PDF files.
Page URLs, titles, and dates may be used to label captures or appear in screenshots or PDFs when you choose the corresponding options.
5. Browser permissions
FullSnapShot requests browser permissions necessary for its screenshot features:
- activeTab: temporary access to the current tab when you initiate a capture.
- scripting: running capture and selection scripts in the page you choose to capture.
- storage: saving preferences and screenshot-related information locally.
- unlimitedStorage: supporting larger local screenshot histories and editable projects.
- downloads: saving exported screenshots and documents to your device.
- tabs (optional): accessing tab information for supported features when permission is granted.
These permissions are used to deliver extension functionality, not to sell browsing information.
6. Sharing and external services
FullSnapShot does not sell your screenshot content or browsing data. In its normal operation, it does not transmit screenshots to T6 Digital for processing.
If you choose to share an exported image or PDF, paste a screenshot into another application, or upload a file to a third-party service, that action is controlled by you and the receiving service's own privacy practices.
The extension includes optional links to external websites, such as the T6 Digital support website and Buy Me a Coffee for voluntary donations. Opening these links takes you to third-party websites, which may collect information under their own privacy policies. Donations are optional and are not required to use FullSnapShot.
7. Website privacy, analytics, and cookie consent
The FullSnapShot website offers optional Google Analytics 4 (Google tag measurement ID G-26DR3T18YX) to help us understand aggregate website usage, such as page visits and interactions, and improve the site. Google Analytics is disabled by default. We do not load the Google Analytics script or enable its tracking unless you select “Accept analytics” in the cookie consent banner.
If you reject analytics, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Your preference is stored locally in your browser so the banner does not appear on every visit. You can change your decision using the Cookie settings control on either website page. If you withdraw consent, we disable analytics and request deletion of applicable Google Analytics cookies; previously transmitted data cannot be recalled.
When you accept, Google may receive information about your visit, such as pages viewed, browser/device details, approximate location inferred from IP address, and cookie identifiers, under Google's own terms and privacy practices. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to recognize returning browsers. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
Separately from analytics, this website may load Google Fonts, and your hosting provider may process routine connection information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the website. The cookie consent choice controls Google Analytics, not these essential website delivery functions or optional third-party video content you choose to play.
8. Data retention and deletion
You can manage or delete saved screenshots using FullSnapShot's History interface. You can change or reset your preferences through Settings. You can also remove the extension or clear its site/extension data through Chrome to remove locally stored extension data, subject to Chrome's behavior.
Files that you downloaded remain wherever you saved them until you delete them yourself. Content that you separately shared with another service is governed by that service's policies.
9. Security
FullSnapShot is designed to process screenshots locally, reducing the need to transfer captured content over the internet. Nevertheless, you should avoid capturing or sharing confidential information unless necessary, review annotations and redactions before export, and protect access to your device and browser profile.
No software or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children's privacy
FullSnapShot is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not specifically directed at children. The extension does not require users to create accounts or provide personal information to T6 Digital to use its core functionality.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when FullSnapShot's features, data handling, or applicable requirements change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
